Case Details

Pre-Operative: Patient presented with caries in the distal aspect of the upper right 1st premolar. Pain was related to the lesion upon stimulus and only for a few seconds.

Intra-Operative: Moderately deep caries were found. Caries were removed establishing proper outline of sound enamel while preserving pulp vitality. Resin Composite was chosen as the restoration material. Rubber dam isolation was chosen along with sectional ring matrix to restore proper contact.

Post-Operative: Composite was applied in layers, cured, then further finished & polished.
