Pre-Operative: Patient presented with an old composite restoration in an endodontically treated tooth which caused him discomfort in occlusion along with gingival irritation. The root canal treatment was verified by an endodontist to be okay with no problems marking that the problems resulted from the coronal seal area.

Intra-Operative: The old composite was completely removed establishing a proper enamel margin for good peripheral seal. Rubber Dam isolation was applied and the distal margin of the tooth needed deep margin elevation. DME was performed along with sealing the pulp chamber. The tooth was then prepared for an endocrown indirect restoration.

Post-Operative: After impression & mock-up, the final E-Max endocrown was ready for delivery. Proper bonding protocol was applied followed by further finishing & polishing to ensure proper margins and surface smoothness are achieved. The patient was very satisfied with the new restoration and that the symptoms he presented with are finally relieved.
