A slightly deep Class II
Careful there
Pre-Operative: Patient was presented with slightly moderate caries. Symptoms of reversible pulpitis were present with quick sharp pain on cold water.
Intra-Operative: Caries were removed, establishing a proper peripheral seal first and then removing the deep caries slowly to avoid any exposures. Thankfully, the pulp was preserved. Rubber dam was chosen for isolation with saddle matrix. Proper etching and bonding protocols applied with resin composite as the restoration of choice.
Post-Operative: Proper contour was achieved and after some finishing & polishing. The premolar was good to go again.
