Large Cavity?
Maybe indirect restoration is the way
Pre-Operative: Patient was presented with an old faulty restoration which caused the patient discomfort & pain. RCT was performed to relieve such symptoms & then we started the restorative journey.
Intra-Operative: Unfortunately, the remaining tooth structure had a deep distal margin. Rubber dam was placed with Teflon to ensure proper isolation. Saddle matrix was used for deep marginal elevation with flowable composite. After establishing a proper margin, the tooth was prepped for an endocrown to ensure good prognosis.
Post-Operative: The endocrown was delivered in the next visit with proper margin & great anatomy. The end result was very satisfying with the patient relieved of all the presenting symptoms.
